Central Library

SSMRV College Library is one of the oldest private Government aided autonomous degree college libraries in Bangalore. It is one of the well-stocked college libraries.it is regularly subscribes to 11+12 national and international journals, periodicals/magazines and fifteen daily newspapers.it caters to the needs of more than 2000 undergraduate, postgraduate and research level staff and students. The library is fully automated & has a spacious reading hall and can accommodate hundred users at any point of time.

The Library operations are managed by the latest version of “LIBSOFT Integrated Library Management System Software”. The library is up-graded Radio frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The Library is well equipped with all the modern facilities and resources and resources (Print and electronic) in the form of CD ROM, DVD, video cassettes, books journals, etc. The library follow the Dewey Decimal Scheme of Classification, AACR-2 cataloging code, and MARC-21 Format for bibliographic data. Books are arranged on the shelves in numerical order from 000-99
